Why was Kanye West snubbed at the MET Gala?
Those who have revelled in the shenanigans of this year's Met Gala (aka us) will have noticed that one special celebrity was missing from the night's proceedings.
That's right, Mr Kanye West was notably absent from the event, leaving his wife, Kim Kardashian West, to walk the red carpet alone.
It's reported that Kanye opted out of the star-studded event in New York because he is not happy about those Kim K bum photos that have been plastered all over the place.
According to The Sun, a friend apparently revealed: "Kanye has helped turned Kim into a fashion icon and he feels those pictures with Kourtney have made her look cheap, damaging her brand.
"He’s angry with Kourtney for seemingly leading her on, as she clearly revelled in turning their session into a photo shoot.
"Their behaviour completely detracted from Kim’s current standing in the industry."
Oh damn.
However, across the pond, People magazine are telling a completely different story, claiming that the rapper didn't attend as he didn't feel ready to return to the spotlight after his breakdown last year.
A source told the magazine: "It had nothing to do with the Met Gala. It was more about the stress and pressure of a big red carpet. He just wasn’t quite there yet. Kanye has been doing okay. He’s made a lot of good progress and is in a much better place."
We're sure that all we'll have to do in order to find out is wait for an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians...
