Celebs having sex on television is entirely their decision

We live in a generation where sex isn't even considered taboo anymore. It's life. We all do it- your mates, your parents, your co-workers... Everyone's at it, and we're not oblivious to that fact. Does that justify doing it on television for the whole world to see? Well, maybe it does.

More and more reality TV programmes show people taking part in sexually explicit acts- the classic Geordie Shore, Love Island, Big Brother and Ex On The Beach are the main culprits that spring to mind.

Whilst doing the deed on television isn't exactly everyone's cuppa: we at Spill The Tea believe it's ultimately the individuals choice. So long as the sexual activity isn't pressured by producers or fellow cast members, then who the hell cares?

These people, regardless if they get so drunk they can't see, regardless if they regularly piss themselves in public, regardless if they leave the house with no underwear- are ALL consenting adults who are fully aware of their actions and the repercussions it may have.

Would I personally want my parents to see me having sex on the telly whilst they're tucking into their chinese on a Saturday night? Would I heck. Would I want to see my daughter/son doing the nasty for their grandparents to see? Nah-ah.

But, at the end of the day, that's a different families problem, not mine. Maybe its time people bothered about their own shit, and kept their nose out of other peoples business. Do you really care if Chloe from Geordie Shore is, 'degrading herself'? She's having the time of her life whilst you're sat about bitching about it, so who's the real winner there?

And here's a totally ludicrous idea- if you don't want to watch people have sex: TURN OFF THE TV! Or better still, don't engage in watching these type of programmes. Seriously. Jog on and go watch The Chase or something and make everyone's lives that little bit easier.
