As Beyoncé Comes Under Fire By Cyber Bullies, When Will Internet Trolls Get Bored?

Internet trolls are some of the lowest people on this planet in our opinion.

Abusive, obnoxious, and spiteful, internet trolls stir up drama by purposely showing hatred, racism, misogyny, or bigotry to whomever they please, and this week it's the queen of pop Beyoncé they're picking on.

The Single Ladies singer has been attacked by cruel trolls who have branded her "fat" after she made a rare appearance in Hollywood, on Wednesday.
The expectant mum was spotted smiling as she left a star-studded bash at Beauty and Essex, in LA.
She showed off her growing baby bump after attending the birthday party of Roc Nation’s Senior Vice President, Lenny S.
The 35-year-old flaunted her cleavage as she opted for a figure-hugging red dress. However, after pictures of the pregnant star emerged, cruel trolls quickly began slating her appearance.

One wrote: "After you pop them babies out take your fat a** to the gym".
While another tweeted: "Damn bruh Beyoncé's getting f*****g fat!".
Absolutely shameful!
Yoncé's fans, the Bey Hive, were quick to jump to her defence though, with one commenting: "Are we really going to fat shame Beyoncé?? She has two humans inside her rn???".
However, the question still remains, when will internet trolls get bored and go away?
Just last week ex-model and TV presenter Katie Price created an online petition, asking the government to consider making online bullying a criminal offence. The petition, which has 213, 378 signatures so far, was created after Katie had finally had enough of internet trolls bullying her 14-year-old son Harvey, who suffers from severe autism, septo-optic dysplasia and Prader-Willi syndrome.
The petition has been recognised by the UK government who responded: "We recognise that behaviour that is not tolerated offline is now common online. DCMS is working on an Internet Safety Strategy which aims to make the UK a safer place for young people to be online".
Although the UK government are promising to look into the matter of online trolling and bullying, little has been said about the rest of the world, and no-one knows when this important issue will finally be resolved.
We're hoping that the old saying of, 'if you ignore them, they'll get bored and go away' applies to internet trolls, and if we all fight together, hopefully they'll get the message.
