Love Island Update 2016: Where are they now?

After rumours surfaced that Love Island's Sophie Gradon and Tom Powel split the other week, we had a crafty stalk of the couples out of the 2016 bunch to see EXACTLY what they've been getting up to since the hit ITV show.

After a rocky relationship on the island, we would have put bets on the so-called "power couple" being one of the first to split. The pair called off their relationship a couple of weeks ago, after having a public spat regarding cheating claims. Sophie had accused Tom of asking another girl for her number, whereas Tom shared a photo of the brunette beauty looking cosy with another man. Tom, keeping with his childish behaviour in the villa, shared a quote afterwards reading: "Sometimes I regret being nice, apologising when I didn't do anything wrong, and for making unworthy people a priority in my life." Ouch. Meanwhile, Sophie posting sexy selfies on Instagram in classic girl break-up style.

Kady and Scott

It wasn't looking good for Kady and Scott at one point in the villa, but since leaving the island the couple are completely besotted with each other. Spotted this week celebrating Kady's 21st with a stylish date in Mayfair, the duo have began hosting their own YouTube channel, are often spotted working out together and are jetting off to Australia today first class. Couple goals? We think so.

Nathan and Cara

The favourite to take the crowm from day one, it's like the Essex Island winners were made for each other. Our investment in the couple is so intense that if they broke up we'd LEGIT cry. Cara and Nathan have returned to our screens through their appearance on TOWIE, have moved into an Essex home together and are currently holidaying in Florida. We expect a ring on that finger very soon Nathan.

Alex and Olivia

There was no denial that Liv was a little nervous about leaving the villa following brummy boy Alex's questionable reputation with the ladies. However, the pair are in full force after claims they've already discussed marriage and kids, taking all the right steps from arranging to move in together to even buying an adorable French bulldog. The couple have also recently been involved in a campaign promoting Christmas flavoured condoms. Wow.

Rachel and Rykard

Our hearts physically melted when Rykard left with Rachel after she was booted from the island. Despite his naughty antics with Olivia coming to surface, stunning blonde Rachel forgave Rykard and the two are happier than ever. They've moved into a pad in London together, have been on a romantic trip to Cyprus and are in the motions of kicking off their YouTube channel.

Emma and Terry

They caused drama in the villa after Terry partnered with Emma despite Marlin's departure from the island. No one particularly thought the duo would last more than five minutes, but they cease to prove us wrong with their regular club opening and event appearances and double-dates with other Love Island couples. Is it love? Or just a ploy to stay relevant? We'll let you decide...

Adam and Katie

As predicted, nothing sparked romantically between Katie and Adam after they coupled together out of defeat in the final few days of the competition. Adam, who failed to impress any females in the villa due to his cringeworthy use of metaphors and weird gym obsession, has actually bagged himself a girlfriend from the outside. 20-year-old Katie focuses on her clothing line, sporting a new blonde 'do and some questionably larger lips.
