Whether you're a fan or not, it's been one hell of a year for the 2011 X Factor winners and it's just got even better with the arrival of their first chart topping album.

There's been a lot of speculation over the break up of Jesy Nelson and her fiancé Jake Roche, lead singer of Rixton, in the past week but all bad news is put to the side after the girls 4th album 'Glory Days' kept musical heavyweights Metallica and Bruno Mars off the top of the UK album charts on Friday.

Featuring their #1 hit, Shout Out To My Ex, the album has become the fastest selling album by a British girlband since Spice Girls' second album 'Spiceworld' back in 1997. It's easy to see why they're enjoying such success at the moment with their sassy clap back anthems striking a chord with anyone trying to get over someone in their life.

ORLANDO & KATY ARE VERY MUCH STILL TOGETHER

It feels as if not a day goes by without rumours of a celebrity break up, but in spite of rumours that Orlando Bloom & Katy Perry were the latest to face the split, Instagram says otherwise!

Donning adorable matching onesies (where can we get one, guys?!), everyone's favourite California girl Katy Perry posted a story on her Instagram showing her hunk of a boyfriend spending time with her family during Thanksgiving.

Reports had been circling that the pair were no longer an item after 10 months together, citing Orlando's reluctance to "settle down for kids" as the reason.

But we've got good reason to call that one a lie as they looked as gorgeous and loved-up together as ever, we hope they can continue to defy the headlines for a while longer.

DOES BRIAN FRIEDMAN CONFIRM CHERYL PREGNANCY?

It has to be one of the most drawn out, ongoing stories of the year; is Cheryl pregnant? But it's possible that Brian Friedman may have confirmed what we all already know.

Friedman, who is the choreographer on The X Factor where Cheryl was a judge for many years, appeared to confirm the news in an interview with new! Magazine, saying: "If they’re happy then it’s fantastic... and now they're having a baby together, so they definitely found something great!"

Speculation over Cheryl's pregnancy has been rife for months but hit another level last month after the 'Fight For This Love' singer emerged from her hotel sporting a noticeable bump, whilst wearing baggy clothes in numerous appearances on TV shows and on the red carpet.

Whatever is going on, Cheryl, can't you just tell us all and save all the dull speculation?
